Little Mover!

So, today we had our 12 week check-up.  As usual, I get myself all worried about everything.  Needless to say, all my worry is in vain.  The Dr. said that the baby is doing fine.  I have successfully made it through the first trimester.  He did a short ultrasound to hear the heartbeat.  The little one was moving and kicking around so much it was hard to get a read.  Every time he found the heartbeat, he was treated to a big kick, or flip.  It was really quite funny to see.

This started a lot of conversation in my house because Aunt Dawn told the boys that "girls wiggle more."  I had to spend the evening telling them that we weren't sure yet.  Eli and Isaac were thrilled, but Caleb insisted that we do not need a girl, because you "can't wrestle girls."  I told him that he could hold her hand and love her if it is a girl.  When I asked if he would like that he replied, "of course not."  These kids are cracking me up!

Our next appointment is on December 1st.  That just happens to be the boys' birthday.  They asked if we could know what it is for their birthday.  They were a little disappointed when I told them probably not.  They are nearly as impatient as me!

I just feel truly blessed.  I can't understand why God saw fit to bless us with this opportunity, but we are all overjoyed.

Ultrasound

I think he/she looks like Jamie ;)

Big Changes at the Campbell Home

Well, as most of you know, we learned that in May, we will be blessed with a new addition to our family.  We were completely shocked, but mostly thrilled.  I don't know why I was so shocked, 2/3 of the boys have been praying for a "new baby" for about a year now.  I love those little guys.  Our family has always wanted more children, but we just never believed it was in God's plan for us.  We were told many times that we would never be able to conceive on our own.

They boys are over-the-top excited.  There is a huge fight at our house about boy or girl.  Eli and Isaac are both thinking pink.  Caleb says, "We do not need a girl at our house."  We have to check the What to Expect app every day to see a "picture of our baby."  We also pray every night for "our baby".

Jamie and I are just praying for a safe and healthy pregnancy and baby.  We apprciate your prayers as well.

We will keep you updated on our progress, and upload a picture as soon as we can.  We go back to see the doctor in 2 short weeks.
